Is my property protected if something gets damaged?

For any property damage that may occur, you are covered under our Terms of Service or, for bookings made with our location scouting services, a Location Agreement (which we facilitate) -- both state that the guest is responsible for returning your location back to its pre-shoot state. If preferred, you may require productions to sign a location agreement that you've drafted. Additionally, It is industry standard for hosts to be included as named insured on a $1M liability policy (which may also cover property damage) held by their guest. We recommend asking your guest for a Certificate of Insurance prior to each reservation for you to review their coverage details and to confirm that you've been added as a named insured. This is the absolute best way to know that you and your property are covered. If they do not have insurance, you can direct them to our insurance partner, Thimble, to quickly purchase an affordable policy starting at $5/hr.
